ARIDO ROI

The Renew-Originate-Implement (ROI) Initiative is a pro-bono project organized by the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO).  This initiative is solely volunteer driven and requires a significant commitment from an ARIDO planning committee made up of ARIDO members, and industry suppliers. Alexis Hur Consulting is proud to be the first project manager to be involved with the ROI completed in 2024/2025.

This project was focused on improving the shared office and community hub of the Ontario Employment Education and Research Centre (OEERC) and the Workers' Action Centre.  Both organizations help give a voice to, educate, and support vulnerable persons in the Ontario workforce.

This 5,000 square foot renovation involved the temporary relocation of the client to a swing space, renovation of the open workspace and enclosed offices, new kitchen and reception to welcome clients as well as several large meeting rooms.  The multi-function event space enables community organizations to gather in a variety of settings.  Design on the project was provided by X-Design and Tigris Engineering.  Construction management and general contracting by Marant Construction.  AV design and install by HitPlay.  Move and decommission services by Move Tactics.
