Gay Lea Foods HQ
Discover how Gay Lea Foods Co-operative Ltd. (GLF) has reimagined the suburban office as a vibrant destination designed for flexibility, connection, and productivity, through a people-first lens. This 29,000 square foot former fitness and restaurant space sat vacant for 15 years before being repositioned as a blank slate for GLF’s new head office. Anchored by their commitment to community and collaboration, GLF embraced a forward-thinking approach to workplace design led by Figure3 — one that reflects their co-operative values and positions them as a leader in workplace innovation. Some of the key design elements include:
The Barn – A stunning, flexible space that serves as a multi-functional hub for internal events and co-operative members.
Café and Solarium – A warm, sunlit space that invites employees to recharge, connect informally, or work in a relaxed setting—supporting well-being and spontaneous collaboration.
Two Outdoor Terraces – Open-air environments that bring the outside in, promoting mental wellness, creativity, and alternative meeting or working spaces—right in the heart of a reimagined suburban office.
